Hello fellow Sigma Kappa sisters! On August 20, Malissa Bradshaw, a SK alum from the Epsilon Chi chapter at Virginia Tech, suffered a hemorrhage due to an aneurysm; and because of that she suffered a stroke. She has been in the hospital since, and has already gone through necessary surgeries, and has been put in a medically induced coma to help her brain heal. 

From sister to sister, I ask that you all keep her in your prayers and in your thoughts. As past pledge mom (vice president of new member education) and 2008 Homecoming Queen at Virginia Tech, she was an important asset to her chapter and made an impact to many lives. She has a long recovery road ahead of her, and her friends have started a medical fund to cover a small portion of her medical costs.
